Sandadi 2008 New Year Party

Aavakai performed at the biggest and only Telugu new year's party in the bay area - Sandadi '08 organized by Peacock Indian Cafe and Aavakai at the Mexican Heritage Plaza in San Jose, CA. There was overwhelming response from the audience as all tickets were sold out a day before the show. Over 500 people danced on the floor to the pulsating live music performed by Aavakai.
Besides Aavakai, there were energetic live dance performances by local artists and non-stop telugu deejay music as well.

Colors of India  
Nov 17 2007 - San Mateo High School, San Mateo, CA

Our dream debut show (Colors of India) with San Mateo High School Indian Club that helped raise more than $10,000 for Sankara Eye Foundation, was an instant hit. All the songs rendered were a youthful mix of popular Hindi and Telugu numbers. The audience was pleasantly surprised by the seasoned performances and the professionalism enthused by the band in the very first show.
