Narayanan
continuously surprises the team with his different voice modulations. He has been singing from a young age and has performed in the All India Radio (AIR) program - Balagaana kacheri. He won several prizes in singing competitions and was selected for the "Paaduta Teeyaga-USA" program conducted by S.P Balasubramanyam during the ATA 2000 convention.
He has performed in two music albums to date.
He is currently learning classical music from Jayshree Varadarajan Garu. Some of his other Gurus in the past are: Rangachary Garu, Kokanda Subramanya Sharma Garu in India and Natarajan Garu, Ramesh Hariharan Garu in the U.S.
Not just singing but he loves everything about music. He also plays the keyboard & is currently learning tabla. He also loves to play 'with' music and enjoys mixing & audio engineering. He is actively involved in Silicon Andhra (www.siliconandhra.org) and has performed at and sound-engineered many shows for the organization.

Vamsi
- The Adnan Sami of Aavakai - singer, actor and comedian Vamsi is a multi-faceted sword.
Born in a family of artists, he picked up most of his singing skills from his mother and his acting skills from his father early on.
Classical, folk, light, filmy, mythological poems - give him anything - he can mesmerize you with ease.
After a long and tiring rehearsal, he lightens us up with a dose of his standup comedy.
He is an excellent stage actor and has also directed several skits and playlets for
SiliconAndhra.

Surya
Well liked for the melody in his compositions, Surya Vakkalanka, has made a mark for himself as a composer, keyboardist and singer in the bay area from the last 10 years.
He has 2 music albums and over 50 compositions ranging from Folk/Ghazals to Contemporary/New Age genres under his belt.
He is very passionate about music and has been singing and playing the keyboard from a very young age.
He was nominated as the light music coordinator for 2 years at IIT-Madras and has bagged several prizes in inter-collegiate (Saarang) music competitions at IIT.
Being a fanatic of Ilayaraja's music, he enjoys melody and harmony especially playing guitar, flute and mouth organ besides the keyboard.
He has been mentored by
Chitraveena Ravikiran on mel-harmony.
Ilayaraja, A.R. Rahman and R.D Burman's music is among his all-time favorites.
Besides Aavakai, Surya is actively involved with
SiliconAndhra where he has composed music for various events, songs, ballets and musicals.
Other interests: Painting, Photography and Video/Audio Mixing. Working as a full-time software professional at Yahoo! Inc., Surya is a musician at heart and an entrepreneur at mind.
